Actress Fella Makafui has responded to allegations made by actor John Peasah, popularly known as Drogba, that she failed to support him during his ongoing health challenges.

The issue emerged after Peasah’s remarks surfaced in an interview shared on TikTok by blogger The Village Blogger, in which he suggested that some colleagues in the entertainment industry had not been actively supportive since he fell ill.

Reacting in the comment section of the viral video, Fella Makafui expressed surprise at the claims, questioning the timing of the interview and insisting that communication between them has recently taken place.

She wrote:
"I hope this video is not new because that will be surprising. We've been communicating lately for anyone asking."

Her response comes after Peasah’s interview on Sammy Kay Media, aired on May 29, 2026, where he detailed his struggles and alleged limited direct support from some industry colleagues.

In the interview, he claimed that although Fella Makafui showed concern, she initially contacted actor Jeffery Nortey instead of reaching out to him directly, despite reportedly having his contact.

Peasah further stated that after later communicating through another number, there had been no sustained follow-up. He also mentioned other industry figures, including Salma Mumin, Kisa Gbekle, and John Dumelo, saying he had not received the level of support he expected.

Fella Makafui’s latest clarification, however, appears to challenge that narrative, maintaining that she has remained in contact with Peasah despite his public comments.
