Confirming her return, her husband, Asiamah, announced in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 3, “Thank God my wife is finally home.”

Nana Agradaa is also expected to rejoin members of her church later in the day for fellowship, marking her first public appearance since regaining her freedom.

She was originally sentenced on July 3, 2025, to 15 years’ imprisonment after being convicted of defrauding by false pretence and engaging in charlatanic advertisement.

Her legal representatives subsequently appealed the ruling, contending that the sentence was excessive.

Following a review, the Amasaman High Court reduced the custodial term to 12 calendar months, describing the initial sentence as unduly harsh.

Her release was granted in accordance with Ghana’s remission policy, having served two-thirds of the revised sentence.
