Ashanti Region to be hit by power outages from May 11 to 12 - See affected areas

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced scheduled maintenance works across parts of the Ashanti Region from Monday, May 11, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026, as part of efforts to improve power supply reliability and enhance service delivery.

According to the ECG, the planned maintenance exercise will lead to temporary power outages in several communities during the stated hours. Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to take the necessary precautions.
