Don’t run down Mahama gov’t over appointments – Asiedu Nketiah warns NDC

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has warned supporters not to “run down” their own government out of frustration over delayed appointments, stressing that doing so would ultimately hurt both the party and its supporters.

Addressing party supporters during his “Thank You Tour” at Daboya Mankarigu in the Savannah Region on Saturday, May 16, Mr Asiedu Nketiah cautioned party faithful against publicly criticising the government, especially over appointments, saying such actions could undermine the progress of the administration they worked hard to elect.
He urged Ghanaians and supporters of the ruling NDC not to lose faith in the government of President John Dramani Mahama, insisting the administration is laying the right foundation to reset the country.
“So those of you who brought the NDC government to power, don’t give up. Don’t begin running your own government down. If you do that, you are running yourself down. Let’s focus,” he warned.
According to him, many Ghanaians believe the NDC government has made a strong start and is on the path toward rebuilding the country.
