GES to release shortlisted National Service recruitment candidates by July 20

The Ghana Education Service has announced that shortlisted candidates for its National Service Personnel (NSP) recruitment exercise will be published on July 20, 2026, as it continues the assessment of applications submitted from across the country.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, June 24, the Service revealed that it is currently reviewing all applications to verify that applicants meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the recruitment advertisement.

GES expressed gratitude to all applicants for their interest and assured them that the selection process is being conducted transparently and in accordance with established recruitment guidelines.
According to the recruitment schedule released by the Service, the evaluation of applications is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026. Following the review process, the list of successful candidates will be made available on July 20.
The Service further indicated that shortlisted applicants will undergo onboarding and orientation programmes at the regional and district levels between July 20 and August 31, 2026. The exercise is designed to prepare recruits for their deployment into various roles within the education sector.

GES stated that all successful candidates are expected to officially assume duty on August 31, 2026, marking the final stage of the recruitment process.
