Sachet water to sell at GH¢15 Per bag from April 6 amid rising costs

The National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP) has announced an increase in the price of sachet water, set to take effect on Monday, April 6, 2026.
In a statement released on Thursday, April 2, 2026, the association explained that the price adjustment is driven by a global shortage of polymers, alongside rising production costs linked to the ongoing conflict in Iran, which has disrupted supply chains.
According to NASPAWAP, the escalating costs have made it increasingly difficult for producers to sustain existing price levels.
