eFootball hits 1 billion downloads milestone

Konami has now announced that eFootball has surpassed a major milestone of one billion downloads worldwide.
The free-to-play title has enjoyed widespread success across PC, console, and mobile platforms, with player engagement remaining strong.

Notably, the game has recorded approximately 50 million new downloads since mid-January, reflecting its continued growth and popularity.
To celebrate this achievement, Konami has introduced a series of limited-time in-game events designed to reward players.

One of the highlights is the “Master League Sprint", inspired by a classic PES mode, offering daily login bonuses such as eFootball Coins and Chance Deals, giving players the opportunity to unlock legendary footballers. The event is scheduled to run until April 16.
In addition, Konami has commissioned a commemorative manga titled That Time I Got Reincarnated in PES, described as a fantasy narrative that follows iconic characters like Castolo and Minanda within the Master League universe.
