France World Cup Squad: Mbappe and Dembele lead star-studded 26-man team

Kylian Mbappé and Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé will headline a powerful France attack after head coach Didier Deschamps announced his 26-man squad for the upcoming World Cup.
France head into the tournament with one of the most talented squads in world football, blending experienced stars with emerging talents across all departments.
Mbappé, who has scored 56 goals for France—second only to Olivier Giroud—will be expected to lead the attack and potentially captain the side, despite recent concerns over injury setbacks.
Dembélé, fresh from a standout season with Paris Saint-Germain and a Ballon d’Or-winning campaign, also enters the tournament as a key attacking figure, although he is still searching for his first World Cup goal.
France’s Star-Studded Attack and Key Absentees
France’s attacking lineup also features Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, PSG’s Désiré Doué, Manchester City playmaker Rayan Cherki, and Arsenal defender William Saliba among the Premier League-linked talents in the squad.
Veterans Lucas Hernández and N’Golo Kanté are among the few remaining members of the 2018 World Cup-winning team, adding experience to Deschamps’ final tournament in charge.
However, there were notable omissions, including Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga and Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani, both of whom featured in previous tournaments.
