The Los Angeles show will feature major international stars including Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema and Tyla, with more global performers still to be announced.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the ceremony as a reflection of America’s cultural diversity and global influence, highlighting music’s power to unite fans worldwide through football.
Fans are expected to arrive early, as the ceremony begins 90 minutes before kick-off, with gates opening four hours prior for entertainment, activations, and immersive fan experiences inside the stadium.
For the first time in history, three opening ceremonies will take place across Mexico City, Toronto, and Los Angeles, symbolising a shared continental celebration across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Organised in partnership with Balich Wonder Studio, the Los Angeles ceremony will use large-scale visuals and storytelling to reflect the identity of the United States while connecting to a unified global theme built around the FIFA World Cup Trophy.
The United States will face Paraguay in the opening match of the tournament.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 104 matches across 16 host cities, running from June 11 to July 19, with the final set for New York/New Jersey Stadium. Tickets remain available via FIFA.com/tickets, subject to availability.
