Ghana Cedi to Dollar exchange rate today, September 1

The Ghana cedi has opened September on a stable note against the US dollar, according to the latest daily interbank exchange rates published by the Bank of Ghana (BoG).
For Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the US dollar is trading at GH¢11.2444 for buying and GH¢11.2556 for selling.
The rates are based on the average interbank rates used by commercial banks for transactions at the close of business on Monday, August 31, 2026.

US Dollar to Ghana Cedi Today
According to the latest Bank of Ghana figures, US$1 is equivalent to GH¢11.2444 at the buying rate and GH¢11.2556 at the selling rate.
This means US$100 is worth approximately GH¢1,124.44 at the buying rate and GH¢1,125.56 at the selling rate, based on the official interbank figures.
The Bank of Ghana's daily interbank reference rate is derived from data submitted by banks on spot US dollar/Ghana cedi transactions and published as the closing rate for the day's transactions.
Pound and Euro Exchange Rates
The British pound is trading at GH¢15.2350 for buying and GH¢15.2514 for selling.
The euro, meanwhile, is quoted at GH¢13.0616 for buying and GH¢13.0745 for selling.
The latest figures indicate that the Ghana cedi remained unchanged against the US dollar compared with the previous day's rates, while recording movements against the pound sterling and euro.
