Tensions boiled over at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday as Hearts of Oak players confronted referee Reginald Collins Amoah following their 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko in a fiery Ghana Premier League Super Clash.

The post-match confrontation was sparked by a controversial disallowed goal that could have levelled the score for the Phobians. Hussiene Adams was seen aggressively approaching the referee, reflecting the frustration and anger of the Hearts squad.

Match Recap

Kotoko broke their 50-year November jinx over Hearts of Oak thanks to Morifin Donzo’s composed first-half penalty. Kotoko dominated early, controlling possession and creating chances, while Hearts struggled to settle. After halftime, Hearts pressed hard and appeared to have scored a late equaliser, but the goal was ruled out for offside.

The decision triggered intense frustration on the pitch and ultimately led to the post-match clash with the referee.
