Man killed, another injured in violent fight over a woman

A 36-year-old man, Kwabena Anokye, has been killed following a violent clash over a woman at Offinso Agyimpra.
According to reports, Anokye was allegedly attacked by Akwasi Anyom after tensions escalated over a woman identified as Adwubi, who previously had a child with the deceased but later entered a relationship with Anyom.

Unable to accept the breakup, Anokye reportedly confronted Anyom at his home around midnight on May 1, 2026. He is said to have entered the house through a window, demanding that Adwubi return to him.
The confrontation quickly turned violent, forcing Adwubi to flee as the two men engaged in a fight that ended in Anokye’s death.

Anyom sustained machete injuries during the incident and was treated at a hospital. He has since been discharged and is currently assisting police with investigations.
The deceased’s body has been deposited at the mortuary as authorities continue their probe into the incident.
