Black Stars player ratings vs Wales: Baba Rahman 3/10, Jonas Adjetey 7, Yirenkyi 7.5

The Black Stars of Ghana were denied a late victory as Wales struck in the 93rd minute to secure a 1-1 draw in a pre-World Cup international friendly in Cardiff.
Midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi gave Ghana the lead in the second half, finishing off a rebound created by a strong run from Ernest Nuamah. However, substitute Charlie Koumas equalised deep into stoppage time to rescue a draw for the hosts.
Wales started strongly, dominating possession and creating early chances, with Lawrence Ati-Zigi producing key saves while another effort struck the crossbar. Ghana also posed a threat through Jordan Ayew, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in a competitive opening spell.
After the break, Ghana grew into the game and eventually took the lead through Yirenkyi, capitalising on sustained pressure. The Black Stars appeared set to claim victory, but late Welsh pressure changed the outcome in stoppage time.
Brandon Thomas-Asante missed a late counterattack opportunity before Wales found the equaliser in the 93rd minute to end the match 1-1.
