Barcelona agree deal for Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus

Barcelona are reportedly close to completing another unexpected signing after reaching an agreement with Arsenal for Gabriel Jesus, according to transfer reports.
The Catalan giants have been searching for a new striker throughout the summer and initially identified Julian Alvarez as their preferred target. However, Atletico Madrid have remained firm on their stance that they are unwilling to sell the Argentina international to Barcelona.
With Alvarez now back in training with Atletico Madrid, Barcelona appear to have turned their attention elsewhere.

Arteta was recently asked about the futures of Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli and suggested that both players could potentially leave the club.
Barcelona's reported move for Jesus would represent another surprise addition to their squad after the Spanish giants previously made unexpected moves for Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi during the transfer window.
If completed, Jesus would bring Premier League experience, versatility and Champions League pedigree to Barcelona's attack as the club continues to strengthen its squad.
