Dreams FC strengthened their push for a top-half finish with an impressive 2-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in their Ghana Premier League clash on Sunday at the Tuba Astroturf.
Dreams FC made a strong start and took control of the game in the 12th minute through Oumar Nafal, who finished off a well-coordinated attacking move to hand the hosts an early lead. The goal set the tone for a confident performance as Dreams dictated the tempo.
Despite enjoying spells of possession, Asante Kotoko struggled to create clear-cut chances, lacking sharpness in the final third.

Dreams FC maintained their intensity after the break and doubled their advantage in the 52nd minute through Ebenezer Adade. His goal effectively sealed the win, leaving Kotoko with a mountain to climb.
Kotoko’s attacking difficulties persisted throughout the match, with the Porcupine Warriors unable to mount a meaningful comeback as their winless run continued.

The result lifts Dreams FC to 7th place with 43 points from 30 matches, while Asante Kotoko drop to 8th position on the same points, slipping further behind the league’s top contenders.

Dreams FC, known as the “Still Believers", will travel to face Bechem United in their next league fixture.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will return to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, where they are set to host Eleven Wonders as they look to end their poor run of form.
