PKO Foundation supports St Bakhita Orphanage with major donation

The PKO Foundation has extended a helping hand to St Bakhita Foundation Ghana, an orphanage based in Accra, as part of its ongoing commitment to community support and social responsibility.
The charity outreach saw the foundation donate a wide range of essential items to support the daily needs of the home.
These included clothes, assorted food items, drinks, toiletries and a cash donation to assist with the running of the facility. St Bakhita Foundation Ghana currently cares for 47 orphans, providing shelter, education and basic welfare for children from vulnerable backgrounds.

Leading the visit was PKO Foundation Chief Executive Officer Edward Osei, who was accompanied by members of his family.

The team spent time interacting with the children and staff, offering words of encouragement and sharing moments that highlighted the importance of compassion and community support.
Speaking during the visit, representatives of the foundation noted that the donation was aimed at easing some of the immediate challenges faced by the orphanage while reinforcing PKO’s belief in giving back to society beyond sports and business.

The foundation emphasised that supporting vulnerable children remains a key pillar of its humanitarian efforts.
PKO Foundation also revealed plans to return to St Bakhita Foundation Ghana in the coming months to provide further assistance.
The initiative, according to the foundation, is not intended to be a one-off gesture but part of a sustained effort to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the children.
Chief Executive Officer of St Bakhita Foundation Ghana, Peter Kizito Awar Tamberson, expressed gratitude to the PKO Foundation and its leadership, describing the donation as timely and deeply appreciated.
